On 18th February, 16th Lancashire Fusiliers of 96 Brigade, 32nd Division, took part in a raid in the Bixschoote sector of the front line in the northern part of the Ypres salient. The Battalion Diary gives no more information other that they attacked an enemy post with two of their sections. There was no mention of any casualties but it is likely that Charles Reynolds was killed as a result of this. |
